Get ready babes! The sale of all sales is less than two weeks away! Knowing how to prepare for this sale is key and will help relieve some stress, and help you get more bang for your buck. I have been shopping this sale for years and I know what to splurge on and what to pass on. I plan to share all of my secrets with you!
What is the NSale?
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is an annual sale in which brand new items (both summer and fall) are on sale. This is unlike many other sales that have least season trends or older items at discounted prices. The NSale has top brands like Rebecca Minkoff, Tory Burch, Free People, Topshop, Madewell, and more. These brands are discounted up to 70% off. Most of these items are ones that rarely (if ever) go on sale. The sale runs for three and a half weeks and new itms are added throughout.
When Does it Start?
Early Access: Thursday July 12-Thursday July 19
Public Event: Friday July 20-Sunday August 5
How Should I Prep?
- Get the Nordstrom credit card. This allows you to shop the sale before the rest of the public. This is important because the really great stuff WILL sell out before public access. I am not trying to shove a credit card offer down your throat, but having the card is the only way you can gain early access to the sale. You can apply here. Again, I do not get any perks for this, I am only offering as a tip.
- Inventory your closet and make a list of items you need. I highly suggest this. I take inventory of staple items that I wear every day such as jeans, boots, jackets, handbags, purses, cardigans, everyday tops, and beauty/makeup items. I like to look through my fall wardrobe and decide:
- What am I missing?
- What do I need to replace?
- What do I need to get rid of?

PRO Tip: As a Nordstrom cardholder, you have a certain amount of triple points days. You can opt to use this in store with your salesperson, or online during checkout. This means that you get three times the points for your purchases!
