Minted in the Midwest was started as a creative outlet for my love of all things fashion. I am constantly being asked by friends and family to help shop and style for events and even to shop in my closet! I pride myself on being able to find amazing bargains on clothes, shoes, bags, and more while splurging every once in a while on staple items.
For a long time I have followed many fashion bloggers out there which inspired me to take on the challenge to start one of my own! I work full time as a health professional at a local hospital Kansas City. In my spare time I embrace my foodie spirit, drink wine, watch trashy tv shows, and spend time with my friends and family. I live in Kansas City, Missouri with my boyfriend of almost a year and a half, Nate. We just bought a house and will be moving to Kansas in a few short weeks! I also have a fur baby, Lucy. She is a “Cavachon” which means she is part Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mixed with Bichon Frise. I got her when I was a senior in College which makes her almost 7! (Man that makes me feel old).
For those of you that aren’t familiar with the Midwest, the weather here can change drastically from day to day. We truly experience all four seasons which makes for a diverse closet! My mission for Minted in the Midwest is to help give women a guide to fashion and make it easier to put outfits together and shop, especially online. I believe that fashion should be fun and help a woman feel beautiful in her skin. So pour yourself a glass of wine, sit back, relax and enjoy!
